
Why have coaching?
· To break through indecision
· To gain clarity
· To develop an action plan
· To be challenged and encouraged to strive for more and/or better
My strengths are asking the difficult questions and encouragement. In coaching sessions, I will listen intently to the client, often reflecting back what the client is saying but not hearing, and then ask questions to encourage them to think deeper and more clearly. I will point out what they are doing well but also challenge them to experiment and take calculated risks. Out of our discussions, clients come up with action plans, things they wish to do, not things given to them by me or anyone else. I then support them through accountability.
