I earned a BSc Hons in Psychology and then began my career in the City of London. I worked in project management, investigation and negotiation roles and also in PR and communications.
After taking a career break to have a family, I began my second career working in various non-profit organisations whilst living in Hong Kong. I ran project work for 8 years for a Philippines-focused charity; was the Director of the Community Advice Bureau in Hong Kong and undertook several other charity roles.
Returning to the UK in 2013 after 9 years in Hong Kong, I decided to embark on my third career and trained as an executive coach with Meyler Campbell. I now work in executive coaching, career transition and career management. In 2018, I expanded my work to use my coaching skills and knowledge of teenagers (I have 3) to work with students, helping them think through the degree/career paths they wish to pursue.
I have coached clients in top-10 accountancy and law firms and in the British government, and students in the private and state sector. I have covered varied issues including time management, public speaking, conflict resolution, stress management, culture change, and management skills such as delegation and supervision. I am particularly skilled at coaching on transitions, including cross-cultural ones, and confidence building.
